Graphicdesign
In the beginning is the idea.
As a Graphic designer I passionately design and conceptualize in the print- and digital world.
With design, less is more. My design follows function – at least most of the time. If I have to explain a draft, it didn´t fulfill its purpose. Rethink, new approach. Design is lasting and sustainable. The creative and conceptual task is to connect everything into a homogeneous and at the same time exciting form. That´s what creativity is about. I never get bored. Really never!
Ideas, concepts and design worlds: Corporate appearances and identities, campaigns for club events, festivals, weddings, all the way to carnival, artwork for cd/vinyl, magazine/brochure and poster series, also. Websites and so many other things in the print and digital world - my portfolio is diverse.
Photography
It captures the moment.
Photography is often about the looks of things. It often just stays superficial. For me, the focus is on the actual depth. The captured moment has to be told. To me it is about conveying that one emotion, it is about telling that one story. Photography is so much more than just looking through a seeker and pressing the shutter button.
The city architecture outdoors, nature and landscapes, wide panoramas or detailed macro, portraits in a studio or reporting from an event, bulb exposure or pure product presentation – I constantly find new impulses and inspirations to grab the camera and to press the trigger button.
The picture-portfolio contains moments, which represent me in my ongoing experimental phase in various areas, or just portray a simple beautiful moment
Audiovisual
Audiovisual movements for two senses.
Sound- and graphic- or motion design is heard and seen simultaneously. The senses eyes and ears interact with each other synchronously – it forms a symbiosis of image, video and sound.
Visualisation describes an individual adapted video projection on an object or surface. I illuminate random structured surfaces with a beamer. This way optical illusions come alive on static surfaces. I tell an audio-visual story by combining video, image, text and audio content.
Arranged spontaneity: Club, chill out, wedding or exhibition. I prepare image/video/illustration/colour- and typography snippets, play and mix them spontaneously live per projector onto the wall or object (mapping). The creative process is performed live synchronously to the music.
Deejay
Soundwiese - a deep mix journey.
I´ve been spinning the tables since the Summer of ´92. I´ve been following the electronic music scene since 1990 with passion. I´ve experimented a lot and have stayed true to many styles. I draw from various sub-genres and don´t want to be limited to one sound. Wether minimal Clubsound, dubby Techno, melodic Tech House, abstract Electronica or spheric Ambient: it has to be deep. And it has to have soul.
Important to me is the fundamental recurring theme: I want to build on a continuos and deep sound. It all keeps turning and turning and turning ...
